Description:
The Midal gas pipeline was constructed from Rysum/Emden via Rheden, Bad Hersfeld and Hanau to Ludwigshafen with diameters varying between 800 and 1000 mm. The overall length was approx. 640 km and the system transported about 8,0 billion m3 natural gas per year. Only two years for design works, construction approvals and construction works were scheduled.
